Comms Hub

The hub linked right up with my 6 EG4 rack batteries with no issues. These are paired with Sol-Ark 12k and seem to be doing just fine. The only issue I had was not realizing the Comms Hub setting are the master for batteries NOT Sol Ark. Overall very happy and easy setup. Next is the V2 Chargeverter for charging batteries via Generator.

Works Good on Solark 15K

I used this EG4 Hub to Connect 12- Lifepower4 batteries to a Solark15K Inverter. This would be a 5 star review, but my only concern is the 48V power cable should come with a inline fuse, as 90% of people are going to connect this unfused cable to very high amperage connection point. I added an aftermarket 2.5 amp inline fuse before connecting the power cable. I updated the firmware on all 12 batteries, and changed the dip switched to #1-12. I made 2 custom length Cat6 Ethernet cables to connect the Hub to the Solark inverter and to the batteries. Once powered up I change the Hub setting to Solark, and the Baud rate to 19.200 per the firmware upgrade requirements. The hub is working great, and allows you to check the parameters on all 12 batteries. The Solark recognized the Hub signal and I am able to see the Battery conditions on the Solark App. The communications Hub allows the Solark to charge the batteries properly and all the problems I was having with top balancing with my previous EG4 inverter went away. Please add a fuse to the 48 volt power cable close to the power connection point, as a short from a high ampacity connection would be dangerous.

Works, but requires Internet digging to make it work.

This hub is poorly supported and the manual is useless, but once you figure out the settings it works. Really needs a better manu. In my setup, I had to change baud rate to 19200 before it could communicate.

Ability to control charge voltage, amperage and see battery details

All the data on one screen at your fingertips. Helpful if you need to top balance. When used with LP4 BMS FIRMWARE ver 3.26 you need to change the baud rate to 19,200. USE with EG4 18kPV AIO and 12 LP4 Batteries
