First off, I've only had this inverter running for a day. The quality looks to be pretty good. The user manual leaves a lot to be desired, but if you enjoy figuring things out for yourself, and have experience with other Internet of things devices, you should be able to get this set up no problem. The basic configuration loaded into the firmware is perfect for a basic grid tied solar setup. If all you did was hook up the DC and the AC circuits, the inverter starts working after about a 5 minute startup process. If you want to monitor your production, you need to download two different apps. The first app will let you connect directly via Wi-Fi (using the Wi-Fi signal that the inverter broadcasts) to the inverter, and give it your home Wi-Fi network and password. The second app will allow you to remotely monitor your production whether you are at home or away. Getting the apps set up took several tries after they crashed unexpectedly, but eventually they worked.
