EG4 RS232 Firmware Update Cable - LL
Signature Solar sent me an RS 232 wire. This was instrumental in updating by six LLS batteries and being able to connect to my EG4 12,000 XP inverter. Tech-support at Signature Solar was excellent. They are heroes in this saga. I was unable to get everything connected up and tech-support was able to take over my computer and re-align everything. My system is now running great. I am in the process, enlarging and rebuilding my new off grid system.
Have not set it up as yet.
This place is my sole place to go for all my solar needs.
Cable worked fine, instructions and software were straightforward and had no issues.
After trying to find accurate details on the RS232 cable pinout and finding massive amounts of conflicting information I decided to just get this cable. It just worked when nothing else I tried did. EG4 needs to release accurate details of the pinouts or include the two cables needed with every battery,
