one downside

If you have local monitoring (like Solar Assistant), it wont work with it, there are no exposed API for software to pull data from it like on the Wifi dongles.

Ethernet modem

O have 3 6000xps and installed these modems on each unit. Easy to install and work great. Plus, the drop in price made my decision to buy them an easy one.

EG4 18KPV Dongle

The device continues to disconnect from the inverter. It requires an unplugging of the dongle and reinstalling the device before it will establish a connection.
