EG4 GridBOSS Micro-Grid Interconnection Device (MID) V3
The EG4 GridBOSS MID simplifies your Energy Storage System (ESS) by consolidating up to 10 components into a single, powerful unit. Designed to seamlessly connect utilities, generators, inverters, and loads, it offers centralized control, easy installation, and real-time remote monitoring.
With the GridBOSS V3 update, customers can now use properly sized aluminum wire, but only on lug connections and Eaton breakers. (Eaton breakers can now be used in both the Smart and Hybrid ports.) If customers use the BSB breakers that come with the equipment, or purchase additional, they are still required to use copper wire.
