With the GridBOSS V3.1 update, customers can now use properly sized aluminum wire, but only on lug connections and Eaton breakers. (Eaton breakers can now be used in both the Smart and Hybrid ports.) If customers use the BSB breakers that come with the equipment, or purchase additional, they are still required to use copper wire.
